Our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of our students and ensure students of all abilities access entitlement to a curriculum that enriches them intellectually, physically, and artistically.

All students of all abilities and interests have the opportunity to access and study from a broad, balanced curriculum that supports their individual interests and aspirations as well as gaining meaningful, recognised qualifications.

The school curriculum offers progression to a wide range of local further education providers as well as meeting the needs of our local Labour Market.

To view more information about each subject area please visit the Subjects A-Z page and select the subject you would like to see more information on.

We understand that, as parents and carers, it is important to you to know what your child is learning in school.

Our Curriculum Handbooks provide you with a summary of the curriculum content your child will be covering each term in each subject, and the key learning objectives.  They also provide you with information on the structure of homework in each subject, and what enrichment opportunities will be provided by school in each subject.  Finally, they provide suggestions, related to each subject area, for further study or enrichment you may wish your child to do at home.

Our summaries of assessment points show both what subjects your child will be assessed in and when this will take place for each year group.
