This year’s Open Evening experience will be a blend of information, including the reflections of the Headteacher on life at The Grange School, as well as the opportunity to tour our school at the following times:.
- Wednesday 22nd September 2021 – 6pm to 8pm
- Thursday 23rd September 2021 – 6pm to 8pm
It is important that we minimise mass gatherings within the main school hall through only offering tours on-site. Visitors should be aware that the evenings may remain popular therefore should consider this when deciding whether to attend in person.
We are keen to be able to provide the opportunity of a school tour and ask that prospective students and their parents book a guided or self-guided tour on the form below. Some families may wish to be guided by current students, or you may wish to be given a map of the school and guide yourselves.
We ask that you keep your visiting group size to a minimum and pre-booking will give us an indication of the number of visitors and enable us to manage appropriate group sizes. Bookings for tours can be made via the Open Evening Tour – Booking Request Form.
On the evening, all prospective students and their parents will be directed round the side of the school, via the pedestrian entrance, to the playground adjacent to the bus park. You will be directed to a guided or self-guided area for the start of the tour.
All guided tours and self-guided tours will start as close to 6.00pm as possible and tours will follow one-way systems operating within the school.
In addition to our Prospectus, we have put together a comprehensive collection of materials on this page, including a Welcome Video and Presentation from our Headteacher, a Virtual Tour Video, a Profile of Each Department, and an Ask A Question Form to enable you to submit any further questions you may have.
We hope this provides you with a unique insight into our friendly community school.
Reflections of the Headteacher, Vince Murray, on life at The Grange School.
Please refer to the document below for further information about some of the points mentioned, including our WE CAN motto.
Our Key Stage Leaders Miss Glenister and Mr Netley take you on a virtual journey around the school showcasing some of the facilities we have to offer.
We very much hope that these resources answer any queries you may have. If not, please do ask us a question.
