At The Grange School, we are committed to developing the whole child and preparing each student as thoroughly as possible for the next stage in their life journey.
Central to this is our strategic framework, WE CAN, with N standing for New Horizons. This reflects our commitment to broadening students’ perspectives and equipping them with the skills and experiences needed for future success.
All students in Key Stage 3 participate in a dedicated Enterprise/Enrichment lesson every two weeks. These sessions are carefully mapped against key frameworks including Personal Development, Character Education, and the Gatsby Benchmarks for good career guidance.
Curriculum Intent
Our Key Stage 3 curriculum is intentionally designed to develop a range of transferable enterprise and employability skills. Through a rich and varied programme, students are introduced to a wide spectrum of career pathways, helping them to:
- Build resilience and aspiration
- Understand their own strengths, interests, and potential
- Begin to explore the next steps available to them
This marks the beginning of their Careers Journey, which continues through Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. By the time students leave The Grange School, they are empowered to make well-informed and confident choices about their future.
