As a Foundation School and part of Aylesbury Learning Partnership, The Governing Body of The Grange School becomes the Admissions Authority and is responsible for the decisions on admissions to the school.
Advice from the Department for Education has made it clear that they expect us to offer the highest priority of admission to all children adopted from care (as opposed to only those adopted from care under the 2002 Children Act and after). Therefore reference to the 2002 Act in the definition of a qualifying looked after child should be ignored, all children adopted after being in care irrespective of the timing will qualify under the clause for the councils admissions process.
