Thank you for your interest in our Sixth Form. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2024, we are an inclusive, diverse Sixth Form of around 170 students. A large proportion of our cohort is comprised of Grange students who choose to stay with us for the next stage of their education, but we also welcome applications from students from other schools.

We offer a wide variety of Level 3 courses, both A Level and BTEC, including vocational courses. Many of our students choose to study a combination of BTEC and A Level – we are proud to offer a flexible study programme.

We provide excellent pastoral support for our students, including mentoring, a tutorial programme to support future aspirations, visits and inviting in guest speakers. We support UCAS applications and have an excellent track record of students gaining places in their first choice university.

Students are trusted to work independently in our Library, Canteen or our new and fully equipped Study Centre. When not studying or in lessons, students have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school, through community service in class, in the Library supporting younger students, or through our peer mentor programme, in conjunction with Bucks Mind.

We set high standards for our students, who are monitored and supported throughout their time with us in order to help them to realise their potential. We are proud of their achievements.

“I am currently studying Food Science, Criminology and Sport which I thoroughly enjoy. I applied to be Head Girl because I am very proud to be a student here at The Grange School and see this as my opportunity to give something back, and contribute, to the school. I know that being Head Girl isn’t just a title, it’s a responsibility, but I really keen and exited to take on this responsibility. I have always wanted to be Head Girl since I started here at the school in Year 7. In my role I will represent the school and our values. I will listen and take their opinions and ideas into consideration to try and make them feel heard, and I will continue to role model being kind, and making students feel welcome and comfortable within the school. One thing I really want to do while being Head Girl is making sure that the new students both in Year 7 and 12 feel welcome. I am also excited to be working alongside the Head Boy Rodrigo, the Deputy Head Girl Hajar and Deputy Head Boy Ollie. It is a privilege to be able to spend my last year here at the Grange School in this amazing role and I am looking forward to the year ahead.

Hattie C- Head Girl

“I am currently studying IT, Business, Maths and Psychology as my A-Level options. My application for this position came through me wanting to improve the experience and quality of students’ times at the Grange School. Throughout this coming year as Head Boy, I want to implement several initiatives that improve the school this year and leave a mark that can be implemented onto the coming years. I am proud to have this responsibility on my shoulders and I am ready to take action to improve the school community and make it a safe space for students to grow and achieve. I want to create ambition and drive for everyone. I want to take students opinions and want to give everyone a voice so that the best for everyone is achieved. I want to achieve an environment where every student feel welcomed. I believe this can be achieved especially with the great Sixth Form Leadership Team we have this year. I will be working closely with all members especially with Head Girl Hattie, Deputy Head Boy Oli and Deputy Head girl Hajar. I have high expectations for us to do well.”
