The school uses an online system called Satchel One (formerly Show My Homework) to assign homework to students and track progress.
Satchel One has a simple homework calendar. It is easy to use, allows ‘anytime, anywhere’ access, and gives students a clear picture of their homework commitments. It allows them to prioritise their workload and stay organised using a personalised calendar, a to-do list and email reminders.
Parents who wish to take a more active role in their children’s home learning can achieve this by having their own Satchel One account. It enables them to take a more proactive role in driving homework prioritisation, and keeping tabs on homework without having to be intrusive.
Parents sign-up for accounts directly with Satchel One using student specific PIN codes issued by the school at the start of the academic year.
A student’s school email address is made up of their username plus @we-can.org.uk
If a student’s username is 19SMITHEx then their email address would be 19SMITHEx@we-can.org.uk
A student’s password for Office 365 is always the same as the password used to logon to school computers. Therefore if a student changes their password on a school computer, it is also changed for Office 365.
Students should use the Sign in with Office 365 button and enter their school email address and school password to login.
If your child has changed their password on a school computer, then they must use this new password to login to Satchel One. The Grange School uses a “single sign-on” system so that students have one account to access a range of different IT systems.
