Year 11 students will sit their mock examinations over a two-week period from Monday 9 November to Friday 20 November 2026. In addition, BTEC assessments will take place from Tuesday 3 November to Friday 6 November 2026. These assessments provide an important opportunity for students to prepare for their final examinations, identify areas for development and build confidence ahead of the summer examination series.
Students are encouraged to begin their preparation early, making use of revision techniques shared in school, resources from the Key Stage 4 Learning Evening, subject learning journeys, examination board information and the school’s Parent Revision Guide.
During the mock examination period:
- Students should attend school as normal and follow the examination timetable provided.
- Students must know their candidate number and check the tier of entry for their examinations where applicable.
- Full school uniform must be worn for all examinations.
- Students must bring the required equipment, including black pens, calculators and any subject-specific items required for their examinations.
- Mobile phones and bags are not permitted in examination rooms.
- Students who are absent due to illness should have their absence reported via MCAS before 8.30am.
We wish all Year 11 students every success as they prepare for and undertake their mock examinations.
