What an incredible day we had at the Bucks & MK School Pickleball Festival last Thursday 19 March at Halton Tennis Centre, brilliantly organised by Leap. Our students were buzzing with excitement, and huge thanks to Mr Dawson for accompanying them on this brand‑new sporting adventure.
So… what is pickleball?
It’s a fast‑paced, super‑fun sport that blends elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Played on a smaller court with paddles and a perforated plastic ball, it’s easy to learn, great for teamwork and absolutely addictive once you get going. Perfect for all ages and abilities which made it the ideal sport for our first‑timers.
A fantastic experience all round. We can’t wait to get back on the court!
