It is time for our 2022-23 GCSE Art students to collect their completed artwork! The required period for retaining NEA work has come to an end, To ensure a smooth and organised process, we kindly request that you follow the instructions outlined in this letter
To collect your artwork, we kindly ask that all students email the Art department stating the day on which they will be able to collect their work. Upon receipt of your email, we will prepare your artwork for collection and take it to the reception area. This will eliminate any potential congestion in the Art department and streamline the collection process. You can contact the art department via this email [email protected]
Your artwork will be securely placed in a large waterproof bag and labelled with your name for ease of identification. Additionally, please inform us if you have an A2 or A3 folder that belongs to you which needs to be collected alongside your work.
To avoid any inconvenience, we must emphasise that students should not simply turn up in the reception area without prior notice. Please ensure that you inform us via email in advance so that we can ensure your artwork is ready for collection when you arrive.
Please be aware that any folders that were purchased by the school and lent to students to keep their work safe will be retained by us. These folders are school property and need to be returned.
If you choose not to collect your artwork, then please be aware that we do not have the storage space to keep any work left uncollected and it will be disposed of. Unfortunately, we also cannot ‘keep work safe’ to be collected later either so please do try to collect your work if you wish to keep it.
Lastly, please note that all artworks must be collected by the 24 November 2023. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to this deadline, as failure to collect your work may result in it being discarded.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Art department.
Thank you for your attention, and we wish all our GCSE Art students the very best for their future endeavors.
