Good luck to our fabulous Duke of Edinburgh staff and students as they look forward to their final expedition this weekend!
Last half term, the team and our wonderfully supportive staff volunteers headed out on their practice walks in the grounds of Ashridge. Since then, they have also completed a whole host of valuable training in Camping, Equipment and Hygiene, Food and Cooking and Navigation, Route planning and the Countryside to complement the First Aid and Emergency Procedures sessions they have already completed.
A big shout out to Mr Dharsey and all of the staff who give up so much of their time to ensure the students get to be part of this exciting and valuable opportunity, and of course to our students too who have impressed us no end with their determination and hardwork.
