A huge congratulations to our U13 and U15 girls handball teams for their fantastic performances last week!
The U13 girls showed incredible determination throughout the competition. After a challenging opening match that was decided on goal difference, they bounced back brilliantly to secure a well-earned victory in their second game. Although they narrowly missed out on progressing to the national rounds, the team worked tirelessly, showed excellent teamwork, and represented the school with respect and positivity throughout.
The U15 girls put in an outstanding performance during the group stages to earn their place in the semifinals. In a fast-paced and competitive match, both teams battled hard from start to finish. Despite narrowly missing out on a place in the final, the girls showed real resilience and team spirit in the 3rd/4th playoff game, securing a fantastic one-goal victory to bring home bronze medals!
We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination shown by both teams. A special thank you to Mrs Bradley for her continued support and encouragement of the teams throughout the competition. Well done girls, such a fantastic achievement and a brilliant example of our school values. We Can!
