As a school we our proud to promote Pride!
To help celebrate and raise awareness of Pride Month which runs through the whole of the month of June, we have shared an informative PowerPoint presentation with all of our Form Groups.
We are also excited to inform you that The Grange School are now members of the The Prisma Group. This is an Aylesbury based group who will support us with the aim of increasing LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility within our school community. This will include training for some staff as well as the development of working party of students and much more. More details to come soon!
Here is a reminder of what we currently do at The Grange to support our LGBTQ+ community.
- Support Group – every Friday lunchtime – all welcome
- LGBTQ+ section within the library
- Rainbow pin badges worn by some staff to show they are a trusted adult that a student can talk to.
- Posters around the school challenging homophobic / transphobic language and showing awareness of members of the LGBTQ community
