Ten of our Year 8 girls were chosen for the ‘I belong in Computing’ trip as part of the I belong In Computing project led by the National Centre for Computing Education. This empowering event at Bletchley Park included inspiring talks, learning about cipher codes and new innovations. The girls were also given a brief tour where the guides shared the history of the women who contributed to the war efforts but they had to do all this quietly and it had to be a secret for nearly 20 years!
Our girls were at the forefront answering questions and contributing to the discussions confidently. Their enthusiasm truly made a positive impact throughout the day – an absolute credit to our school! #WeCan#EducationalVisit
