Last week saw a fantastic series of trips for our Year 10 and Year 12 Geography students to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

This educational visit gave students the opportunity to carry out real-world geography fieldwork, exploring the regeneration of the East End of London’s Lea Valley. Throughout the day they collected primary data on the local environment, including pedestrian counts and land use mapping bringing classroom learning to life in a meaningful and engaging way.

It was a brilliant trip, with students representing the school superbly throughout. We were incredibly proud of them!

A huge thank you to Miss Rai, Mr Dharsey, Mr Pynn, Mr McFadden, Mrs Jaffali and our LSA team for supporting and accompanying the students.
