On the morning of Friday 27 June, Mrs Shepherd had the pleasure of escorting 16 students from across Year 8, 9 and 10 to Wendover Cricket Club for the Young Leaders Cricket Event.
Our students joined Tom and Rose from Insignia Trust as they taught a range of cricket skills to pupils in Year 2, 3 and 4 from Halton Community Combined School, Wendover CE Junior School and Stoke Mandeville Combined School.
All of our students were amazing, showing patience, skill and maturity. A special shout out goes to Oscar T and Jack W who received lots of complimentary feedback from the teachers about their confidence and natural gift with the pupils.
A wonderful way to end the week, well done everyone!
