When we return to school on Monday 31st October any students who cycle to school will now need to leave their bikes in our new bike shed which is accessed via the bus lane gate. This can be accessed at 8.20 in the morning.
The bike sheds will be unlocked at the start and end of the school day to allow students to drop off and collect their bikes. During the school day it will be locked. If students need to leave during the school day they will need to contact the site team via reception.
As an additional security measure, we do ask that students please provide their own suitable bike lock.
Please could we also ask you to remind students about bike safety if they are using their bikes, including: wearing a cycle helmet; paying attention and not getting distracted listening to music; do not ride on pavements unless signs say ; obey traffic lights and road signs. This is really important to ensure that they are able to travel to and from school as safely as possible.
