We have unfortunately had some issues with our Year 13 students arriving late for their exams. Although they are now young adults, we would really appreciate the support of parents and carers to encourage them to arrive at school in a punctual manner.
The following message has been sent to all of our students in the year group:
I hope your exams are going well so far and you are calm and revising hard.
Please read carefully the following message, as we have had some issues so far and the start of exams is being delayed by some of you.
MORNING EXAMS
The official start time is 9am. THIS IS NOT THE TIME YOU ARRIVE!
You need to be outside the Hall at 8.45, at the latest – without your bag/coat/phone. You can use the PE Changing Rooms for these.
AFTERNOON EXAMS
Start time is 1.30pm so you must be there at 1.15pm – again, ready to go in.
Exams are a very strictly controlled event. It is not acceptable to turn up at 9am with your bag on your back and phone in your hand.
The exam doors will be closed and exams started at 9am and 1.30pm so make sure you are here before then.
Please contact the school if you have any emergencies.
This message is not to panic you but to make sure that the lateness of a few doesn’t impact on the rest of you and also the Year 11 students.
Mr Sabin
Many thanks in advance to our parents and carers for your continued support.
