On Tuesday 24 June we were lucky enough to have a visit from inspirational poet and author, Matt Goodfellow.
Matt led several high energy workshops for both our Year 7 students as well as Year 6 students from some of our local Primary Schools.
Matt shared his exciting journey from Primary School teacher to critically acclaimed author, answered a whole host of inquisitive questions from the audience and shared some tips on how to write a great poem before letting the students have a go!
We hope those that ordered a signed copy of ‘The First Year’ or ‘The Final Year’ enjoy them as much as we did! They are both incredibly powerful, authentic, moving and heart-warming stories.
