Wednesday 6 May marked an emotional final day with our Year 11 leavers as we bid them farewell for study leave ahead of their forthcoming examinations.

The celebrations began with shirt signing in the sunshine on the field, complete with doughnuts, before an emotional final assembly. Form tutors shared memories, photos and reflections from the students’ journey from Year 7 through to Year 11. Year Team Leaders Mr Black and Mrs Pollard and Key Stage Leader Mr Netley, echoed the sentiments of the form tutors….that this year group has been an absolute pleasure and have truly stepped up, especially during this academic year.

The assembly ended with a hilarious parody video created by our fantastic Year 11 team. There was lots of laughter, plenty of cheers and, of course, a few tears too. The perfect send-off for a wonderful year group.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Now it’s time to work hard during study leave, prepare well and go and smash those exams. Be the very best you can be as you take your next steps towards the future.

A reminder that the study leave timetable and revision timetable is in place to support you, and all key examination information can be found on the school website.

We still have exams, Prom and, of course, Results Day to come, so we look forward to welcoming you all back very soon!
