We enjoyed a brilliant evening on Thursday 16 July as our Drama Club students took to the stage for a superb Summer Showcase.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Drama Department for organising such a fantastic evening and to the stars of the show, our truly talented students, whose creativity, confidence and dedication shone throughout every performance.
Our audience enjoyed a series of impressive scenes from the Key Stage 3 set texts, performed in a unique site-specific theatre style. By using different spaces around the school, our students brought each story to life in imaginative and immersive ways.
✨ Year 7 performed the Library Scene from Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations by Alan Ayckbourn, celebrating imagination, courage and friendship.
✨ Year 8 presented a powerful duologue from The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty by David Calcutt, exploring themes of peer pressure, bullying and responsibility.
✨ Year 9 performed a thought-provoking scene from DNA by Dennis Kelly, examining friendship, difficult choices and their consequences.
