What a fantastic day our Year 10 and Year 11 DT students had on Wednesday this week as 74 of them headed to Gala for an exciting and hands-on educational visit, giving them the opportunity to experience the construction and design industry in situ and see how the skills they are developing in the classroom are used in the real world.
From building walls and traffic management to crane training, virtual digger driving and even hook-a-duck on the diggers! There was something for everyone! It was brilliant to see our students getting stuck in, asking questions and making the most of every opportunity. Even better, we received lots of compliments about their approach, attitude and behaviour throughout the day. They represented the school exceptionally well, and we couldn’t be prouder.
