On Tuesday, our Year 12 Sociology and Criminology students headed to London for a brilliant visit to the Royal Courts of Justice and The Old Bailey.
No photos were allowed inside the courts, but we’ve shared a few snaps from the day, including the famous arch outside the Royal Courts, our awesome group on the steps of St Paul’s, and the red‑brick buildings around Lincoln’s Inn Fields, home to many barristers’ chambers.
Students were able to watch real cases unfold, including seeing a witness sworn in. They were absolutely amazing throughout, a real credit to the school. A huge thank you to Mr McFadden, Mr Scott and Mrs Jackson for organising and supporting such a valuable experience.
A fascinating trip that truly brought classroom learning to life.
