On Friday 17 April, we proudly hosted our much-anticipated Culture Day. It was a truly vibrant celebration of the diversity that makes our school so special. Students and staff came together in a stunning display of traditional attire and colours representing their heritage, filling the day with pride, identity, and joy.

Our incredible Year 13 students organised a fantastic Culture Show, featuring performances from Years 7–13. From powerful singing and energetic dancing to a vibrant fashion show, every moment reflected the talent and spirit of our community. Performances took place across both lunchtimes, followed by a special evening showcase where families were warmly welcomed to join the celebrations.

With over 50 languages spoken and 33 nationalities represented, our school community is something truly unique. Events like this remind us just how strong we are when we come together to celebrate and learn from one another.

A huge thank you to Mrs Devanney, Mr Sabin, and our amazing Sixth Formers Dakiaiya and Kyesha for organising such an uplifting event and to every student who took part whether that be in the show or by wearing your cultural attire. Your energy, creativity, and pride made the day unforgettable.

It was a bright, colourful and uplifting celebration filled with a true sense of community and school spirit. We couldn’t be prouder!
