Last week, our Food Technology classrooms were buzzing with energy as we launched a brand-new initiative in partnership with Innovate, our fantastic school canteen providers.

Head Chef Chris joined our Year 13 students and Mrs Nolan for a hands-on culinary workshop that was as educational as it was exciting. Chef Chris demonstrated how to scale, gut, and fillet whole fish with professional precision before guiding students in preparing their very own Fish en Papillote, served with a colourful selection of fresh vegetables.

After watching the expert in action, our students rolled up their sleeves and put their new skills to the test…..and the results were nothing short of amazing! The finished dishes looked (and smelled!) absolutely delicious.

This inspiring session marks the first of many workshops planned as part of our new Food Technology partnership. With such a successful start, we can’t wait to see what’s next!
