Despite the dark, cold evenings since before Christmas, our sports clubs have had good attendance and some very good results.  Fitness club has been a real triumph so far, well attended by a core group of 20+ students each week, with a variety of fitness challenges. Netball club continues to use Key stage 4 students to help train and develop the Key Stage 3 students on a Wednesday afternoon, while results have been up and down, attendance is good.

U15 girls football team were second in their pool and made it to the County Cup quarter finals, where they were defeated by a very strong team from Brooklands School in Milton Keynes.

The U14 boys beat John Hampden 4-0 in the county cup semi final to reach a first county final for the school in a number of years. The finals will be held during the county finals festival in Slough, details will be made available as soon as we know but well done to the year 9 boys on a fantastic achievement!!

Mrs Bradley and Mr McCartney held a Year r 7 interform dodgeball tournament in the last week of term which was well attended and a huge success. Well done to 7O who were the eventual winners.

We’re looking forward to the second half of the Spring Term for yet more sporting engagement and success!
