We were delighted to take part in the Let Girls Play project on Wednesday 9 March 2022, England Football and Barclays combined to host the biggest EVER football session for girls in schools across the UK. The aim of the project was to get as many girls as possible in school all playing football on the same day and to raise awareness of women’s football.
In our school we held a quiz launched via Satchel as well as a challenge to show off their freestyle football skills
For those girls who had PE on Wednesday, they were allowed to wear their football shirts.
It was great to see so many girls taking part!
