Your support, encouragement and interest make a huge difference to your child’s motivation and ability to cope with the academic and organisational demands of the exam period. Please do take a look at the support information below from our recent Learning Evening to understand which exam board your child is sitting, the year ahead and different types of revision.
The purpose of revision is to find and close gaps in knowledge, secure knowledge in long-term memory and to practise recalling knowledge quickly. We are suggesting that students test out their revision techniques now for the mocks and work out which techniques work for them. Techniques such as creating and using flash cards, creating and using mind maps and having a go at past paper questions are all great tips.
