On Thursday 5 March, our school transformed into a whirlwind of imagination, colour and creativity as we celebrated World Book Day 2026 in true storybook style!
From staff dressing up as their favourite literary characters, to classroom doors transformed into literary backdrops, to an epic whole‑school quiz, the day was bursting with excitement. Our library became a wonderland of its very own, hosting Alice in Wonderland–themed activities led by none other than Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee!
In the library, students painted stunning Wonderland doors, created bookmarks and flowers, tackled word searches and filled the space with laughter and creativity. Breaktime and lunchtime were absolutely buzzing.![]()

A huge thank you to everyone who helped create what can only be described as a symphony of colours. It was fun, it was joyful and together as a team, we truly embodied the spirit of World Book Day and championed the message loud and clear: literacy matters!
