Year 13 students will sit their GCE and BTEC mock examinations from Monday 23 November to Friday 27 November 2026. These assessments provide an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their progress, identify strengths and areas for development, and prepare for their final examinations later in the academic year.
Students are encouraged to begin their preparation early, making use of revision techniques shared in school, subject resources, learning journeys and examination board information. Families can also access the school’s Parent Revision Guide for advice on supporting students at home.
During the mock examination period:
- Morning examinations begin at 9:00am and afternoon examinations begin at 1:30pm.
- Students may study from home when not in examinations, although some BTEC lessons may continue where necessary.
- Full school uniform must be worn for all examinations.
- Students must bring the required examination equipment, including black pens and any subject-specific items, such as calculators.
- Mobile phones and bags are not permitted in examination rooms.
We wish all Year 13 students every success as they prepare for and undertake their mock examinations.
